By participating in the Frassati Catholic Band, students will have the opportunity to learn and develop their talents, to meet more fellow students, and to contribute to the enjoyment of the whole community. 
 

Composed of every level of player from beginner to intermediate/advanced, students will grow in every sense of the word while in this group. Students have a variety of performance opportunities, including playing for varsity home football and basketball games, pep rallies, and each semester’s Fine Arts Presentation. 
 

The numerous skills acquired while playing in the Frassati Catholic Band are extremely valuable parts of the formation of the whole student. Band members learn the value of practice and performance, as well as the fundamentals of reading and performing different genres of music. They experience the fulfillment of using their gifts and talents in a way that not only supports the mission of Frassati Catholic High School by allowing them to “walk on a path of true happiness,” but serves to welcome others into our Frassati Catholic community through the performance opportunities discussed above. 
 

Frassati Catholic Band is associated with the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA). Students have the opportunity to audition for the Region and Stage Band Clinics and Concerts. They also compete in the Regional and State Solo & Ensemble Competitions, in which past students have received “Excellent” and “Superior” ratings.
