    • The Heart of Our School

Faith is at the heart of everything we do here at Frassati Catholic High School. Like all Catholic schools, we exist to extend the Church’s evangelizing mission by encouraging every student, teacher, parent, and staff member to build a relationship with Christ. Steeped in the inheritance of St. Dominic, Frassati Catholic’s approach is to propose, not impose, the Catholic faith by revealing its beauty, truth, and goodness.

Like the sower in the Gospel, we want to prepare the soil so that the grace of Christ can take root in the hearts of our students. We seek to offer our students opportunities where they can hear His voice—through prayer, through solid and dynamic religious instruction, through participation in the life of the sacraments, and through service to others. Our goal is that students who come to Frassati Catholic High School will leave more convinced of their own call to holiness and more willing to respond to the specific way God is calling them to bring Him to the world.

    • "To live without Faith, without a patrimony to defend, without a steady struggle for Truth, that is not living, but existing."

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel, our campus chapel, is open to students. Whether they are participating in group prayer with peers, or spending quiet time for reflection, our students are encouraged to take advantage of the chapel.

    All School Mass
    • All School Mass

Every week, our community comes together to celebrate Mass, typically at 9:15 am in our Assembly Hall on Thursdays unless there is a special Solemnity or Holy Day of Obligation that week. You can see the definitive schedule for Mass times on our school calendar.

In addition to our chaplain, Fr. David Ramirez, we are blessed to welcome celebrants from many of the parishes in the North Houston area. We welcome all guests, including parents, extended family, or community members to our weekly all-school mass. If you would like to attend Mass on Thursday with us, please check in at the front office in the main Academic Building when you arrive. We do ask that all guests arrive around 9 am so there is plenty of time to check in and make your way to the Assembly Hall.

Students who have been trained to serve in a particular liturgical role at their home parish and would like to serve in the liturgies at Frassati Catholic as well should reach out to Mr. Valka at [email protected].

    Monthly Eucharistic Adoration
    • Monthly Eucharistic Adoration

One way that Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati loved to cultivate his relationship with the Lord was through frequently attending Eucharistic Adoration- sometimes all the way through the night! Students and faculty alike are encouraged to frequently spend time with our Lord, who is always present in the tabernacle of our Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Additionally, students are given dedicated time each month in their religion classes to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. They start with a shorter time of prayer in their freshman year and incrementally work their way up to a whole Holy Hour by their senior year. By imitating our patron and his love for our Eucharistic Lord, Frassati Catholic students have the opportunity to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus and devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.

Adoration happens in the days leading up to the First Friday of each month. When the Blessed Sacrament is not being adored by our students in their religion class, these spots are filled by faculty, staff, and parents. If you would like to sign up for Adoration, please visit the Sign Up Genius below. Parents will need to sign in and out with the Front Desk.

Adoration Sign Ups will be shared in the weekly Newsletter.

Please note as the spots start to fill that we can certainly have more than one person or class adoring our Lord at a time (Our new and improved chapel can seat 80!). However, if the time you would like is not listed on the sign-up genius, it means that classes will be in adoration at that time and we ask that you please find another time to adore the Lord. Thank you!

Contact Mr. Valka at [email protected] if you have any difficulty signing up.

"We love because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19

This year, the Class of 2029 will journey to St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church for a day of prayer, reflection, and fun. Led by Mr. PJ Lozano of Ablaze Ministries, we will unpack 1 John 4 and the call to true friendship with God and each other. We will have opportunities to play, eat, and pray together before returning to campus by 3pm.
      • Permission forms are due by January 23rd.
      • Meeting spot: FCHS Gym @ 7:30am on January 30th
      • More details HERE.

      10th Grade Retreat: 9/18/26

      Matthew 9:9-13

For the Sophomore retreat this year, the Class of 2028 retreated to Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church for the day and reflected on the call of St. Matthew and their own individual summons from the Lord. We examined what it means to be “called and sent” by God and spent time in prayer together, while also making time to play together and strengthen our bonds as a community.

      11th Grade Retreat: 2/17 - 2/18

"Who do you say that I am?" - Matthew 16:15

This spring, Juniors will journey to Forest Glen Camps & Retreat center after school on Thursday, March 26th for their first overnight class retreat with FCHS. With Fr. Jacob Ramirez, we will spend time in prayer and reflection together. There will be time for fun with friends as well as silence with the Lord. This is an exciting retreat! Mark your calendars and keep an eye out for more details to come.

      12th Grade Retreat: 3/17 - 3/19

      "Go Forth Bravely!"

The Class of 2026 will go on a two-night, three day retreat this February where they will reflect on their relationship with Christ and each other and look to the future with Him. We will be joined by Fr. Joseph Paul, O.P. and our very own Fr. David Ramirez as well! Amid the fun of high ropes and fun with friends, we will also get to pull away and spend time growing in intimacy with the Lord as we prepare to send our seniors out to "go forth bravely!"

    Pilgrimages
    • Pilgrimages

Pilgrimages hold a central role in the faith life of all Catholics, serving as a journey with a purpose; a journey to honor God. At Frassati Catholic, we engage in pilgrimages so that our students will become becoming witnesses for Christ and understand the importance of the Church in today’s society. We have participated in the last three World Youth Days (Krakow 2016, Panama 2019, Lisbon 2023), yearly pilgrimages to Austin for the Texas Rally for Life, and locally at the March of the Surviving Youth (MOTSY). Students return energized about their faith, and resolute in their call to become agents of change in modern culture.

Last year, we kicked off a brand new pilgrimage- "In the Footsteps of Pier Giorgio." Rising upperclassmen had the opportunity to quite literally walk the footsteps of our patron by visiting Florence, Pollone, Turin, and Rome.
